As a key member of our Operations Team, you play an essential role in ensuring quality, safety, and exceptional customer experience.Position OverviewThe Operations Specialist works closely with frontline teams to ensure vehicles meet Flexcar quality standards and are customer-ready. This role primarily operates outdoors at a market location and requires strong attention to detail, technology usage, and operational coordination.This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime compensation under California law, including:Overtime for hours worked over 8 in a workdayDouble time for hours worked over 12 in a workdayOvertime premiums for qualifying seventh consecutive workdaysEssential FunctionsReasonable accommodations will be provided to qualified individuals with disabilities in accordance with applicable law.Clean and detail a high volume of vehicles to meet company standardsAssess vehicle quality and document damage using company technologyComplete readiness, return, and infleet inspectionsTake high-quality vehicle photos for website displayConduct daily inventory scans and assist with reconciliationOrganize and manage vehicle inventory and parking areasCommunicate with team members using company-issued smart devicesAssist with customer vehicle deliveries as neededMaintain Flexcar facilities and propertyManage assigned projects and tasks as business needs dictateSafeguard vehicles, company property, and customer informationComply with Cal/OSHA safety requirements and environmental standardsAccurately complete timekeeping recordsRequired QualificationsAt least 18 years of ageValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to lift and carry tools and materials up to 50 poundsWillingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsFlexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs requireStrong time management and multitasking skillsComfort using smartphone and technology platformsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environmentPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and liftingOutdoor work exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditionsUse of cleaning chemicals and automotive-related materialsCompensation Transparency (California – SB 1162)The hourly pay range for this position in California is $27.00 – $29.50 per hour. This range represents the reasonably expected pay range for this role within California.
