About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Foundry Operations to spearhead the industrialization and scaling of its battery cell manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end industrialization strategy, from pilot phase to multi-GWh scale production. This role involves leading site selection, facility delivery, equipment and process engineering, team building, and cross-functional product integration. The VP will also be instrumental in commercial and market alignment, executive and board engagement, and ensuring operational excellence and quality systems are in place. Candidates for this executive position should have a minimum of 15 years' leadership experience in operational, manufacturing, or engineering functions, with a proven track record of scaling operations, teams, and systems. Experience in battery manufacturing is highly preferred, particularly in the areas of cell production process blocks. The role requires a leader with a strong background in capital project management, cross-functional and commercial acumen, and a focus on organizational development. The ideal candidate will have an agile and growth mindset, with a background in fast-paced, high-growth, or pre-IPO technology/manufacturing environments, and hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
