Bolero Restaurante at Europa Village takes our guests on a culinary journey throughout the country of Spain. Our menu celebrates the centuries old tradition of dining together, tapas style. Tapas are prepared typically in bite size offerings and made to be shared. Europa Village is looking for a full-time Restaurant Line Cook. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking with an out-going, self-motivated and energetic personality. Fine dining experience is a plus. Minimum of two years Line Cook experience is a must. - Recibir órdenes del personal de servicio o mediante el sistema computarizado.
- Tener la capacidad de manejar múltiples órdenes de alimentos al mismo tiempo.
- Supervisar múltiples pedidos de comida a medida que llegan nuevas órdenes.
- Cocinar y preparar platillos de acuerdo con las instrucciones específicas de los huéspedes.
- Garantizar que se sirvan alimentos de alta calidad en todo momento.
- Cumplir con la precisión en el tamaño de las porciones y los estándares de calidad.
- Asegurarse de que cada pedido de los huéspedes incluya los alimentos y acompañamientos correctos.
- Asegurarse de que los alimentos preparados para una mesa salgan de la cocina simultáneamente y con alta calidad.
- Garantizar que todos los alimentos se almacenen adecuadamente en los recipientes correctos.
- Asegurarse de que todos los alimentos se almacenen a las temperaturas adecuadas.
- Medir y mezclar ingredientes de acuerdo con las recetas utilizando diversos utensilios y equipos de cocina.
- Observar y probar los alimentos durante la cocción mediante degustación, olor y verificación con un tenedor para asegurar que estén completamente cocidos.
- Cortar carnes, porcionar alimentos en platos para servir y agregar salsas o caldillos según sea necesario.
- Decorar los alimentos con precisión de acuerdo con las recetas y las pautas de presentación.
- Seguir todas las normas de manipulación de alimentos, saneamiento y regulaciones del departamento de salud.
- Mantener un área de trabajo limpia, segura y organizada.
- Ayudar a mantener abastecidas las estaciones designadas, congeladores, refrigeradores y almacenes
- Seguir el sistema adecuado de rotación de alimentos y ayudar a gestionar el inventario de alimentos de manera regular.
- Solicitar alimentos y suministros cuando los niveles sean bajos.
- Garantizar que el área de cocina permanezca limpia, desinfectada y organizada en todo momento.
- Asegurarse de que los equipos y electrodomésticos se limpien, se desinfecten y se mantengan adecuadamente.
- Ser capaz de permanecer de pie durante largos períodos de tiempo.
- Trabajar a un ritmo rápido para que los alimentos sean servidos de manera oportuna.
- Tener alta habilidad para realizar múltiples tareas simultáneamente y supervisar varios alimentos cocinándose al mismo tiempo.
- Realizar otras responsabilidades asignadas.
- Crear y fomentar un ambiente de trabajo en equipo ayudando a compañeros de trabajo o huéspedes sin dudarlo.
- Ser capaz de comunicar la historia de Europa Village.
- Tratar a todos los empleados y huéspedes con respeto.
