Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your essential duties will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via video calls, leveraging a solution-based approach tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Encouraging open discussion with clients about their emotions, life experiences, and interpersonal relationships to foster personal insight and growth.

• Serving as a dedicated advocate for your clients, helping them to define realistic and achievable treatment goals.

• Performing thorough evaluations of clients' mental states and creating individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect your clinical expertise.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include carefully screened individuals who are stable adults experiencing low acuity mental health issues. By working with this demographics, you will focus on empowerment and resiliency rather than crisis intervention. Each client is matched based on their needs and your areas of expertise, ensuring a meaningful therapeutic relationship that facilitates growth and progress.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current and unrestricted license to practice independently in New York State as one of the following:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
\n
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
\n
\n
• A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients.

• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a supportive nature.

• Proficient with computers and telehealth software platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, we prefer candidates with experience in:

• Working with diverse populations and understanding cultural nuances in therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year , commensurate with hours worked and experience. Along with your salary, you will receive a monthly healthcare stipend to support your well-being, as well as weekly direct deposit for your convenience.
