Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' mental health status, including screening for common issues such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and eating disorders.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidence-based methodologies, ensuring each course of therapy addresses the unique needs of the client.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients the tools and skills necessary to overcome behavioral and emotional challenges.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment approaches as needed to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to refer clients to psychiatrists or additional support services when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance use issues, and relationship difficulties. You will also have the opportunity to engage with individuals from different cultural backgrounds, which will enhance your skills in providing culturally responsive therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license such as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the State of New York.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, providing therapy in a mental health setting.

• In-depth knowledge of a wide range of mental health disorders and proven application of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience in offering culturally informed therapy and developing inclusive therapeutic practices.

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using technology for clinical documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
