Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Paralegal role based in Tallahassee, FL. The Paralegal will assist attorneys with case management, including organizing files, maintaining case calendars, and tracking deadlines. Daily tasks include preparing and formatting legal documents, conducting legal and factual research, reviewing and summarizing records, and supporting trial and hearing preparation. The role also involves communicating with clients, courts, and other parties, drafting correspondence, and ensuring all documents are accurately filed and compliant with court rules. The Paralegal will collaborate closely with attorneys and administrative staff to support efficient, high-quality legal services. Qualifications Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of law and legal procedures relevant to a law firm environment. Candidates should possess strong legal document preparation skills, including drafting, formatting, and organizing pleadings, motions, and correspondence. Candidates should possess solid research abilities, including legal research, factual investigation, and case-related information gathering. Candidates should possess document review skills, including analyzing, summarizing, and verifying accuracy of legal and supporting documents. Candidates should possess effective communication skills, including clear written communication and professional interaction with clients and colleagues.
