Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based counseling focused on mental health and substance use issues.

• Deliver individual and couples therapy, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to engage clients of all age groups and backgrounds.

• Manage case files thoroughly, ensuring timely documentation of client sessions, treatment notes, and updates as part of best practices for clinical accountability.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, when necessary, maintaining a client-centered approach to treatment.

• Facilitate ongoing appointments and maintain accurate scheduling, adapting to clients’ needs and preferences.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and insurance requirements, supported by our billing service for claims and payments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Optimal Psychiatric Clinic, you will work directly with a diverse client base, including youth, adults, and families, many of whom are confronting challenges related to mental health and substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in supporting these individuals with compassion and skilled intervention, aimed toward recovery and improvement in their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a human service or behavioral healthcare field.

• Valid California LCSW licensure with at least two years of paid, full-time experience in substance use and mental health counseling.
