Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs by utilizing interviews, diagnostic tests, and consultation with other healthcare professionals.

• Develop personalized treatment plans for clients, taking into account their unique circumstances, history, and preferences.
\n
• Engage with patients through regular sessions, both individually and in group settings, to facilitate their journey towards mental wellness and recovery.

• Utilize our EHR system to maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, treatment progress, and communication with healthcare providers.

• Utilize various therapeutic methodologies effectively, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.

• Refer clients to additional services as necessary, such as psychiatry or intensive outpatient programs, to enhance the support offered.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Silver Wing Counseling Center, you will work with an eclectic mix of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and substance abuse challenges. This breadth of experience will allow you to refine your skills in managing a range of mental health disorders and to apply a culturally competent framework in your treatment plans.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, or LSCSW in the state of Kansas.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting.
\n
• Proficient understanding of mental health disorders and effective treatment interventions.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
