Lab Technician

On-Site role

Job Description:

Overall objective/accountability.
Perform routine general chemistry analyses and sample preparations per Client or official methodologies.
Support administrative tasks and Good Laboratory Practices checks performed.

Main tasks/responsibilities:

Receive, process and track analytical sample requests.
Communicate with project managers to obtain necessary information.
Coordinate analyses with other Analytical Section analysts.
Perform routine in-house chemical and physical testing.
Monitor and maintain basic analytical equipment.
Maintain the laboratory in a safe, clean environment.
Accurately document analytical analysis.
Comply with Client Integrated Management System and all other company policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

Associate degree or B.S. in a science-related field with one year of related experience or a High School diploma(or GED) with three years of related experience.

Specific requirements:

Excellent planning and organization skills.
Ability to accurately perform analytical procedures and administrative tasks.
Good communication skills.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office), Client software.
