Support Engineer

Skills Required: • 3+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 2 years in a procurement position. Prior experience in a game development studio is welcome but not required.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Experience with Azure Active Directory and Azure DevOps.• Scripting language experience ( Python, C#, or PowerShell ) is a plus.• Experience in supporting multiple OSes is a bonus.DescriptionJob Responsibilities:• Work closely with Studio Management, various Directors and Leads to understand and act upon the studio’s IT related needs• Perform PC Hardware procurement, setup, and recycling• Field requests for information technology services, repairs, upgrades, support, inquires or complaints• Manage PC and parts inventory for the studio• Handle user account management• Provide IT support internally and externally to partner teams involved in game creation• Work with the larger IT teams to engage on best practices and working through technical concernsSkillsTechnical support, Active directory, azure, Entra, Hardware, azure devops, scripting, python scriptsTop Skills DetailsTechnical support,Active directory,azure,Entra,Hardware,azure devops,scripting,python scriptsAdditional Skills & Qualifications• Disqualifiers: Candidates who would use the role as a jumping off point will not be eligible for the role. Reason being it takes a lot of effort to ramp up and train so they would like to avoid candidates who are using this role as a stop while they are searching for the next role.• Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain experience having worked with a gaming team before and the ability to write different scripting using Python ( Python is a requirement but the more the familiar they are the easier the role will be).
