Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and support staff to coordinate comprehensive mental health treatment for patients.

• Deliver mental health in-service training sessions to medical, psychiatric, and security personnel as necessary.

• Manage and defuse mental health emergencies, employing effective intervention techniques within telehealth sessions.

• Participate in judicial commitment hearings and serve as a mental health expert when required.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions to ensure continuity of care.

• Uphold confidentiality and safeguard patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Verify patients' mental health history and medication records prior to their consultations.

• Compile and submit regular and ad-hoc reports reflecting patient progress and team activities.

• Facilitate post-release referrals in collaboration with nursing and mental health staff to ensure ongoing support for our patients.
