Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments with patients to evaluate their mental health status, including the nature and severity of their issues.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that encompass evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's specific needs.
• Engage in regular follow-up sessions with clients, fostering a supportive environment that encourages growth and resilience.
• Utilize effective communication skills to provide clients with the coping tools and techniques necessary to tackle personal challenges.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and primary care physicians, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client sessions using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The licensed counselor will work with a diverse range of patients, including but not limited to individuals facing substance abuse issues, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Our team places a strong emphasis on cultural competence, ensuring each counselor is adept at addressing the unique backgrounds and life experiences of their clients.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid professional license such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW issued by the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of four years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating expertise across a variety of clinical issues.
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Proven experience in conducting both individual and group therapy sessions in a culturally responsive manner.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain a composed demeanor in challenging scenarios.
• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills essential for building strong therapeutic alliances with clients and their families.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and reliability in digital communication.
• Commitment to ethical practice and patient confidentiality in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Telehealth practices or similar remote counseling settings.
• Additional training in specialized treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Motivational Interviewing.
• A background working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our extensive benefits package includes:
