Payroll SpecialistLocation: Mamaroneck, NY – full-time in officeCompensation: up to $100,000 depending on experienceKey Responsibilities:Process weekly payroll for ~125 union employees accurately and on timeEnsure employees are being paid in accordance with unionReview and validate timesheets, job cost allocations, and laborCoordinate with field supervisors to resolveOrder and distribute union stamps, maintain accurate stampPayment of weekly and quarterly payrollPayment of weekly employeePrepare and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with prevailing wageManage payroll reporting for OCIP/CCIPPrepare and submit union reports, benefit contributions, and relatedRespond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and payrollRespond to external employment verificationSupport audits (internal, external, union)Qualifications:7+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a unionStrong understanding of union contracts and multi-rate/multi-classExperience with certified payroll and prevailing wageFamiliarity with OCIP/CCIP project requirements andKnowledge of payroll laws and regulations (Prevailing Wage)Experience with construction payroll systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
