Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota teaching certification, Tier 3 or Tier 4 required (please ensure credentials are attached with your application)
• Current experience or strong background working as a Special Education Teacher, particularly with students with developmental cognitive disabilities (DCD)
• Deep commitment to individualized instruction and differentiation to meet diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and foster an encouraging, supportive classroom climate

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and adapt educational programs for students with DCD in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction, support, and encouragement to students in both academic and social-emotional growth
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to best meet student needs
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress using clear, data-driven methods
• Uphold all district policies and state standards for special education
