Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact by supporting students with developmental cognitive disabilities as a Special Education Teacher for an upcoming school-year contract near Osseo, MN. This engaging, onsite opportunity will have you working with a manageable caseload of approximately nine students at the elementary level, delivering individualized educational support and collaborating with dedicated staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Hold a valid Minnesota Tier 3 or 4 Special Education Teaching Certification (must be attached to your application along with your resume)
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with developmental cognitive disabilities (DCD)
• Training or professional background in special education service delivery models
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working closely with faculty, staff, and families
• Commitment to personalized, student-centered instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and facilitate individualized education programs (IEPs) for students on the DCD caseload
• Implement evidence-based strategies tailored to each student’s learning needs and abilities
• Assess student progress, monitor outcomes, and adapt instructional plans accordingly
• Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and related service providers
• Maintain compliance with documentation, reporting, and district policies

This contract role runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027, scheduled for 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, roughly 8:30am–4:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
