Business Development Manager (Commission Only | 1099)

Overview Date posted: January 14, 2026 Pay: $15,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Job description: CMI is expanding and seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to generate new client accounts and grow our staffing and workforce solutions in the Columbus, Ohio market. This is a 100% commission-only opportunity designed for proven B2B sales professionals who are confident in their ability to close deals and build long-term client relationships. There is no base salary for this role. Compensation Commission-only compensation (no base salary) Commissions earned based on active employees assigned to new client accounts Ongoing commissions while the account remains active Mileage reimbursement for approved client visits Unlimited earning potential This position does not offer a guaranteed salary. Earnings are performance-based. Responsibilities Prospect and secure new B2B client accounts Present staffing and workforce solutions to prospective clients Close service agreements and staffing orders Coordinate client onboarding with internal recruiting and operations teams Maintain and grow assigned client accounts Who This Role Is For Experienced B2B sales professionals Self-starters comfortable with commission-only compensation Individuals confident in closing deals independently Sales professionals looking to build recurring, long-term income Who This Role Is NOT For Entry-level candidates Individuals seeking a base salary or hourly pay Candidates uncomfortable with performance-based earning Requirements Proven experience in B2B sales (staffing, logistics, warehouse, cleaning, or service industries preferred) Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline Reliable transportation for client visits Results-driven mindset Language English, Spanish (Preferred) License/Certification Driver's License (Required) Location Dublin, OH 43016 (Required) Willingness to travel 25% (Preferred) Work Location Hybrid remote in Dublin, OH 43016 #J-18808-Ljbffr CMI-HR Facility Solutions
