Air Freight Business Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Air Freight Business Development Manager to join our growing commercial organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the air freight business portfolio, acquiring new customers, managing key accounts, and driving sustainable revenue growth within a highly competitive logistics market. You will play a critical role in expanding market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and contributing directly to ambitious commercial targets.

Your Responsibilities:

• Drive business development activities to secure and grow the air freight portfolio.
• Contribute to achieving annual air freight sales and revenue targets.
• Conduct regular customer visits to acquire new business and develop existing accounts.
• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within target markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and strategic partners.
• Manage key accounts and support long-term customer growth strategies.
• Lead commercial negotiations while optimizing pricing and profit margins.
• Collaborate closely with Operations and Pricing teams to ensure competitive and reliable service solutions.
• Maintain accurate CRM updates including customer visits, pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
• Improve pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy through disciplined CRM usage.
• Monitor market developments and provide competitor and industry insights.
• Represent DP World professionally in customer meetings, negotiations, and business development activities.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field,
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in air freight sales or business development,
• Strong knowledge of air freight operations, market dynamics, and commercial structures,
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing customer portfolios,
• Experience in customer acquisition, pipeline management, and key account development,
• Strong commercial negotiation and pricing management skills,
• Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365,
• Analytical mindset with strong forecasting and pipeline management capabilities,
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and presentation skills,
• Results-oriented with a strong focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction,
• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable in dynamic market environments,
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken,
