Senior Accountant

Description Senior Accountant responsible for leading core accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and supporting the monthly and year-end close processes. This role owns key areas of the general ledger and performs advanced accounting analysis while reviewing and approving work prepared by accounting staff. The position combines hands‑on general ledger responsibility, cost accounting exposure, and operational accounting oversight, including customer programs, fixed assets, reconciliations, and transactional accounting processes. The Senior Accountant operates with a high degree of independence and judgment, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies while driving process improvements and supporting management reporting. Requirements Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting Advanced Excel skills ERP system experience (Microsoft D365 preferred) Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and reconciliation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and collaboration skills High attention to detail and accuracy Power BI and D365 Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills Multi‑tasking and coordinating projects with changing priorities Working knowledge of Windows‑based operating system Ability to communicate and motivate clearly and effectively with internal and external contacts via in‑person meetings, telephone, and written communication People management and ability to make effective business decisions in the best interest of the Company Strong analytical skills Strong presentation skills Ability to travel less than 10% Office Products Industry a plus Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 5–7+ years accounting experience CPA or CPA‑track a plus Manufacturing or cost accounting experience preferred Experience supervising or reviewing staff work preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Zebra Pen Corp
