Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive ongoing assessments to accurately identify and address the individual needs of each patient.
\n
• Facilitate effective communication with supervisors, collaborative staff, and family members regarding patient progress and treatment efficacy.
\n
• Develop and share tentative schedules with supervisors for appointments, home visits, and monitoring activities necessary for supporting your caseload.
\n
• Coordinate and conduct home visits, ensuring thorough observation and data gathering for treatment evaluations.
\n
• Implement program plans effectively and ensure adherence to outlined methodologies in therapy sessions.
\n
• Actively participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to discuss case progress and adjustments needed for effective treatment.
\n
• Document monthly and quarterly progress notes to track patient development and program effectiveness.
\n
• Lead training initiatives to certify staff on program plan implementation and ensure proper documentation practices.
\n
• Facilitate follow-up sessions, including interviews and home visits, to provide continuous support to clients.
\n
• Maintain accurate records, ensuring information is accessible to authorized personnel and relevant stakeholders.
\n
• Serve as a liaison with community organizations and other mental health professionals to support patient developmental and community outreach goals.

• Assist in developing training materials that enhance program offerings and staff competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including both adults and youth facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LMHC license in the state of Massachusetts.

• Minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical environment.

• Demonstrated understanding of mental health treatment methodologies and practices.
\n
• Expertise in one or more specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is preferred.

• Strong grasp of legal and ethical standards in the mental health field.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling rapport building with clients and families.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software and telehealth technologies is advantageous.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in specific therapeutic techniques or specialties such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed practices will enhance candidacy. Familiarity with the unique challenges faced by families and young individuals is especially relevant.
