Work Environment\n

This position operates in a remote setting, primarily serving school districts in and around Memphis, Tennessee. The flexible work arrangement means that while much of the work will occur remotely, there will be occasional on-site visits, tailored to meet the needs of specific schools or students. You will work closely with educators, school administration, and other mental health professionals to create a supportive and collaborative environment for student rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, utilizing interviews, observational techniques, and a review of medical histories to evaluate each student's current emotional and social health.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans in collaborative discussions with the interdisciplinary team, including school counselors, teachers, and healthcare providers.

• Offer one-on-one counseling sessions to students and support groups for families, directly addressing issues related to adjustment, emotional well-being, and coping strategies.

• Assist students in accessing vital community resources, such as speech therapy, vocational training programs, or psychological services, to enhance their recovery and educational experiences.

• Participate in and contribute to discharge planning, ensuring that students have a solid transition plan for ongoing support, whether at home or other educational settings.

This role centers on supporting students with a variety of emotional and psychological needs, including those facing challenges from developmental disorders, trauma, and other significant life changes. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
