Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students to identify emotional, social, and financial needs, collaborating closely with school staff to ensure holistic support.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on issues such as adjustment difficulties, grief, anxiety, coping strategies, and conflict resolution.

• Coordinate with local community organizations to facilitate post-discharge services, ensuring continuity of care and connecting families with essential resources.

• Develop, implement, and monitor discharge plans tailored to students' needs, ensuring they receive adequate follow-up support.
\n
• Participate in student support teams and committees, lending your expertise in social work to enhance overall student health initiatives.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client interactions, evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with legal and organizational standards.

• Provide crisis intervention services as needed and develop strategies to mitigate crisis situations in the school setting.

The primary client focus for this role is students ranging from elementary to high school within a diverse educational environment. You will be working with individuals who may face a variety of challenges, such as behavioral issues, mental health concerns, family dynamics, and socio-economic challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building rapport with students, families, and school staff.

Compensation and Benefits\n
