Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance while still being an integral part of our multidisciplinary detox center team. Although the role is performed remotely, you will participate in regular virtual meetings with colleagues, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and nursing staff, to ensure cohesive and coordinated care for clients. You will be equipped with state-of-the-art communication tools and software to maintain client records and facilitate online counseling sessions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as a client advocate, helping individuals access essential community resources, social services, and support systems to improve their quality of life.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support when clients are in distress, ensuring their immediate safety and stabilization.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential client documentation including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments in line with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular consultations and collaborations with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with each client's unique needs.

• Educate clients on effective coping strategies, communication skills, and self-care techniques to foster their independence and empower their mental health journeys.

• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives and networking efforts to build awareness of our services and forge valuable partnerships with local organizations and services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily support clients confronting substance use challenges and accompanying mental health issues. You will work closely with individuals in varying stages of detoxification and recovery from addiction, offering culturally responsive and trauma-informed care tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. This role necessitates a profound understanding of the complexities of dual diagnoses and a commitment to fostering resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field.

• A minimum of four years of professional experience in the field of social work, with specific exposure to mental health and substance use disorder services.
