Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health status, identifying strengths, challenges, and specific needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the diverse needs of students.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and educational staff to develop integrated care plans that address both academic and personal challenges faced by students.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, fostering engagement and trust within therapeutic relationships.

• Educate students and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and available resources to promote informed decision-making.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, setting focused goals that align with patient needs and preferences.

• Assist students in navigating complex mental health systems, serving as an advocate for their rights and support in accessing necessary services.

• Manage therapeutic groups, psychoeducation workshops, and discharge planning for students transitioning out of crisis situations or special programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve children and adolescents within the school environment who are experiencing mental health challenges. You will focus on a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and trauma, ensuring each student's unique context and circumstances are taken into account as part of their treatment journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active State Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
