We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Operations Manager / Catering Manager to lead our food service team and oversee daily restaurant and catering operations. - Supervise staff training and development to foster a motivated, knowledgeable team proficient in food preparation, food safety, and customer service standards.
- Monitor inventory levels using systems like Spot On POS to control stock, reduce waste, and optimize food costs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, reconcile registers at shift end, and ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.
- Implement quality control measures for food production and presentation to uphold high standards across all service areas.
- Lead shift management by assigning duties, supervising staff performance, resolving customer issues promptly, and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Collaborate with vendors for supplies procurement and manage budgets effectively to maximize profitability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through staff training programs focused on culinary skills, hospitality management, and operational efficiency. Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or catering management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and inventory control.
- Strong background in food safety standards and sanitation practices; relevant certifications preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or food industry environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing inventory control procedures.
- Ability to train staff effectively in food handling, culinary techniques, and service excellence.
- Familiarity with banquet operations or restaurant catering services is a plus.
