Legal Admin (Temp)

Location: Port Washington, NY (Full-Time Onsite) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Hourly Rate: $35–40/hour, dependent on experience

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support Corporate Counsel. This role will focus on contract administration, legal document management, and coordination of communications across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer customer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and related legal documents
  • Review, draft, edit, amend, and proofread legal documentation and correspondence
  • Track and log contract status to ensure timely processing and completion
  • Prioritize and route incoming emails and communications to appropriate parties
  • Monitor deadlines and provide regular updates to Corporate Counsel on contract progress
  • Create, organize, and maintain legal files, project folders, and supporting documentation
  • Maintain both physical and electronic filing systems for efficiency and accuracy
  • Manage legal communications with internal teams and external clients
  • Answer and direct phone calls; take messages as needed
  • Handle distribution of documents via mail, fax, email, and electronic upload

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a legal administrative or contract administration role
  • Strong understanding of legal documents and contract processes
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
