Holistic Mental and Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Trauma-Informed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. This position is full-time and remote, allowing for flexibility as you provide essential mental health care to individuals affected by trauma. Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while engaging with clients through our telehealth platform. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments, carefully evaluating clients’ trauma histories to tailor effective treatment approaches.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and strategies to foster resilience.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to aid clients in processing trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and nurturing their healing journey.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, exhibiting calm and effective decision-making skills.
• Educate clients and their families about the nuances of trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards pertinent to mental health practices.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities centered on trauma-informed care practices.
• Continuously review the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, ensuring that your therapeutic approach is grounded in the most current knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will provide essential mental health services to a diverse array of clients, predominantly those affected by trauma. This includes individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your compassionate and tailored approach will empower them to navigate their healing journey, while you help them cultivate resilience and coping strategies that are vital for their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Washington.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and approaches to resilience-building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, embodying a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications, facilitating effective documentation and client management.
• Ability to stay calm and composed in high-stress scenarios, providing unwavering support to clients in need.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly dealing with trauma-focused interventions.
• Previous experience delivering trauma-specific therapies and interventions to enhance client outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on integrated client care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a favorable salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
