Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing physical function and forming a comprehensive treatment plan based on individual needs.
• Implement treatment interventions that encompass a variety of specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, ensuring a well-rounded approach to care.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for patients, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to maximize patient outcomes by utilizing evidence-based practices and incorporating evolving methodologies into treatment plans.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care in a variety of settings, including the clinic and potentially at the patient's home, ensuring alignment with physician's plans for care.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers through consultations, training sessions, and informational resources aimed at enhancing understanding and adherence to treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Spindletop Physical Therapy Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, spanning various age groups and medical backgrounds. Our patient population ranges from individuals recovering from sports injuries and orthopedic surgeries to children with developmental challenges and adults managing chronic pain. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to connect with patients and their families effectively.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• A genuine interest in building lasting relationships with patients to help them exceed their functional goals and return to their daily lives.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed physical therapist, with a proven track record in various specialties.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 - 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance. In addition to a rewarding compensation package, our benefits include:
