Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain a therapeutic rapport with clients, fostering a positive and trusting relationship.

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnose mental health issues impacting patients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and circumstances of each client, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Facilitate individual and couple therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

• Monitor and evaluate client progress through regular follow-up sessions and adjust treatment interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with other professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver integrated care and make appropriate referrals when necessary.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients coping with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and co-occurring disorders is highly desirable.

• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients toward their recovery goals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
