Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing you to help clients from the comfort of your own home. The standard work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing ample time for self-care and personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments for clients to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that are tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment modalities, and effective self-care practices to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring a seamless integration of services.

• Engage in continuous professional development, staying updated on the latest research and clinical advancements in mental health treatment.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all clinical interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face a variety of challenges, making it essential for our team to employ culturally competent and individualized care approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Proficiency in evidence-based modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a focus on mood disorder treatment.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.

• A proven track record of achieving positive outcomes with clients facing mood disorders.
