Key Responsibilities\n

As an LPCC at Sun River, your responsibilities will revolve around providing holistic and evidence-based therapeutic services tailored to young adults aged 18-30. Your daily tasks will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Leading engaging group sessions that foster empathy and connection among clients, encouraging shared learning and support.

• Individual Counseling: Delivering personalized therapy sessions that enable clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, while developing actionable coping strategies based on their unique circumstances.

• Treatment Planning: Collaboratively designing individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s goals and preferences, adapting strategies as necessary based on ongoing assessments.

• Progress Tracking: Utilizing assessment tools and feedback methods to monitor and evaluate clients' progress, ensuring therapy remains effective and focused on desired outcomes.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Interacting with a team of dedicated professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive care and discuss complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults, a demographic facing unique mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and identity exploration. Through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), you will support clients as they navigate personal struggles, develop resilience, and foster independence.

Qualifications\n

• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
\n
• Demonstrated experience working with clients facing mental health issues, particularly within outpatient or residential treatment settings.

• Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in therapeutic methodologies such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

Preferred Experience\n

While at least one year of experience is required, additional qualifications such as familiarity with telehealth practices, knowledge of trauma-informed care, and experience with young adult populations will be highly regarded.
