Property Staff Accountant
In Office | Direct Hire | Full-Time
Seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional with a commercial property management and development company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a collaborative, in-office environment and wants to contribute to a dynamic portfolio of real estate properties.
What You'll Do- Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements
- Perform general ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and account analysis
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Record journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Analyze operating expenses and investigate variances
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Work closely with property managers and operations teams
- Assist with audits and special accounting projects as needed
- Maintain financial records and reports within Yardi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of recent accounting experience within the real estate industry
- Required: Yardi experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
