Facility Coordinator

Description Clean Harbors is currently looking for a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator/ Forklift Operator to join their team at San Diego, CA! As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting shipping and receiving operations, maintaining inventory data, managing documentation, able to operate a forklift and assisting with administrative duties to ensure smooth facility operations. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management. Prepares all outbound shipments for final destination: Bar coded, Weights, Palletize. Coordinates load between hubs, plants, and central logistics. Ensures transportation efficiency and maintain compliance with storage permits. Dispatches transportation from hubs, maximizing our trailer weights. Assists on tracking of manifest return timelines. Maintains Hub Database Outlook - Hub Management. Assures proper DOT exemptions are utilized for proper transfer and management of TTT containers prior to departure from facility. Report and assist on any issues that may occur at the hub facility, such as leaks, releases to the Health & Safety Manager or Compliance Manager immediately. May be assigned additional duties not listed above based on business needs. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required; Must be 18 years or older; 1+ Years of related experience; Forklift experience preferred (Not Required); Ability to use computer; Ability to lift 50 or more pounds; Office Work Excel, Microsoft Moderate computer skills Traveling when needed to cover/train new employees (1 week a month when necessary) Clean Harbors has a commitment to excellence deeply rooted in a strong sense of tradition.
