Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit utilizing a team nursing model in partnership with LPN staff at an 8:1 ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG readings; complete an open-book EKG test at orientation
• Float within scope of practice as needed, including occasional float to a sister facility approximately 25 minutes away (lower acuity setting)
• Complete 4 weekend shifts per contract term and fulfill the full contract length
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Valid Arizona RN license (required prior to start)
• Current BLS certification (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
• Current NIHSS certification (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Must be a travel nurse (non-local); local candidates within 75 miles will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ACLS certification
• Prior experience working within a team nursing model alongside LPN staff
• Comfort and flexibility with floating to sister facility locations
