Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person (Hourly)
Shift: 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday
Pay Range: $53,000 - $57,000 per year
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to efficiently handle a high volume of invoices and emails. Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree with a concentration in accounting (required).
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable.
• Language: Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus but not required).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including intermediate formulas and pivot tables).
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP system

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze general ledger accounts and perform assigned reconciliations.
• Navigate and manage a paperless AP system effectively.
• Organize and control incoming paperwork and electronic documents.
• Ensure timely and accurate entry and payment of vendor invoices.
• Review vendor statements and address outstanding issues promptly.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in vendor accounts.
• Manage a high volume of emails while maintaining attention to detail.
• Maintain and prioritize a task list to meet deadlines.
• Understand and work with purchase orders effectively.
