Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at our facility, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that consider the interplay between patients' psychiatric and medical conditions.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions for both mental health and physical health needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting therapeutic techniques based on the unique circumstances and backgrounds of patients.

• Offer crisis intervention services, providing timely support during high-stress situations involved in mental health emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population comprises individuals facing co-occurring mental health and medical issues, including chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and substance use disorders. You will work with diverse patients, tailoring your approach to accommodate a wide array of needs and backgrounds, which enriches the therapeutic experience and enhances patient engagement.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• Strong skills in addressing the mental health of individuals with complex medical conditions.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver integrated care and work alongside medical professionals in a collaborative setting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish rapport and maintain professional boundaries.
