We are looking for a Payroll Clerk to support payroll operations for a growing organization. This is a contract position offering part-time hours of approximately 20 to 25 per week, ideal for someone who can manage payroll activities accurately and efficiently. The role focuses on end-to-end payroll administration, including employee pay processing, deductions, and record maintenance using QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities:
• Administer complete payroll processing for a workforce of approximately 101 to 500 employees, ensuring timely and accurate compensation.
• Review payroll data for hours, earnings, taxes, and deductions before each pay cycle is finalized.
• Manage wage garnishments and other withholdings in accordance with applicable requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain organized payroll records and update employee information to support accurate reporting and compliance.
• Use QuickBooks Online to enter, process, and reconcile payroll transactions.
• Respond to payroll-related questions from employees and help resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Assist with payroll adjustments, corrections, and other follow-up actions as needed to maintain accuracy.• Previous experience handling payroll in a Payroll Clerk or similar payroll-focused role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle payroll from data review through final processing.
• Experience supporting payroll for organizations with 101 to 500 employees.
• Working knowledge of payroll garnishments, deductions, and related compliance considerations.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing sensitive payroll information.
• Ability to work independently in a part-time contract role while meeting payroll deadlines.
