Staff Accountant

Randstad is seeking a Staff Accountant to join an industry-leading company headquartered in Las Vegas. In this role, you will help safeguard financial integrity, ensure strict compliance with accounting standards, and drive a seamless month-end close. In-office Monday – Friday Core Responsibilities Prepare, review, and post journal entries while accurately managing general ledger activity, record retention and assist in month-end and year-end closing cycles. Reconcile accounts, monitor financial data for discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues promptly. Assist with internal and external audits by gathering required documentation and maintaining compliance standards. Work cross-functionally across departments to maintain the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Experience: 2+ years of corporate accounting experience. Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency with modern accounting software platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities. Core Competencies: Strong grasp of GAAP principles and general tax regulations, paired with exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
