Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct engaging and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique experiences and develop tailored treatment plans that consider their diverse backgrounds.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities tailored to individual patient needs.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health challenges and enhancing overall resilience and well-being.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, utilizing your strong crisis management skills to stabilize and guide patients effectively.

• Educate patients and their families about various mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources to empower them in their recovery journeys.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with all local, state, and federal legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and training workshops focused on cultural competency and continuous improvement.

• Continuously update your knowledge on current research, best practices, and innovations in the field of mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee is essential.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, as well as demonstrated cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive manner is preferable.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain calm and collected in high-stress situations.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively build rapport and connect with a diverse patient base.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technology tools.

• A commitment to maintaining professional ethical standards, confidentiality, and healthy boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, applicants with extensive experience in culturally sensitive therapy and proven success in enhancing patient outcomes are strongly encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
