We are actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our dynamic team at the Individual and Family Psychotherapy Center. This full-time, remote position offers you the chance to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals and families facing mental health challenges, particularly surrounding trauma recovery. Our operating hours extend from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, allowing you to tailor your availability to best meet your clients' needs. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to assess clients’ trauma histories and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma and developing robust coping mechanisms.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure clients receive integrated, holistic care.

• Providing crisis intervention for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.

• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses and available resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintaining precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to patient safety and trust.

• Actively participating in case consultations, professional development activities, and team meetings with a focus on trauma-informed principles.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LPC licensure in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• A strong foundation in trauma-informed care and specific therapies.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure during high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with varied levels of experience who demonstrate a commitment to learning and growing within the field. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies is especially valuable, as is the ability to work comfortably with different client demographics, including couples.
