Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma backgrounds, identifying their unique treatment needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, emphasizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Utilize methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their trauma, devising coping strategies, and fostering personal growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other allied mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for our clients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies or acute distress situations.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available treatment resources.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation while adhering to ethical and legal standards in mental health practices.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

Summit Behavioral Health Resources offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
