This full-time opportunity allows for a combination of telehealth and in-person sessions, with a primary focus on trauma recovery. Work Environment\n

The LPC position is primarily a remote role, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while also engaging in face-to-face sessions at our outpatient office in Cedar Hill. The office hours extend from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, facilitating dynamic scheduling that suits your availability. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history, fostering a deep understanding of their individual experiences and challenges.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing traumatic experiences, developing effective coping strategies, and promoting overall healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and supported during critical moments.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and coping mechanisms to promote resilience.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a high level of trust and integrity.

• Participate in case consultations and professional development activities emphasizing trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance patient outcomes and treatment efficacy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, complemented by a sign-on bonus. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
