We are seeking dedicated Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) to join our team at the Individual and Family Psychotherapy Center. This is a full-time position with an emphasis on telehealth services, allowing you to provide crucial mental health support to clients from the comfort of their own homes. Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, utilizing telehealth platforms to connect with clients. Our practice operates seven days a week, offering flexible hours from 7 AM to 10 PM, which allows our counselors to tailor their schedules to suit their personal and professional needs. We have a supportive team that handles scheduling and client services, allowing our counselors to focus on delivering quality care. All necessary technology and tools needed for effective therapy sessions will be provided.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience-building, incorporating evidence-based modalities.
\n
• Utilize therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during individual and group sessions.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions that help clients process their trauma, develop essential coping strategies, and promote recovery.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated and comprehensive care approach for each client.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping methods, and available resources to aid their recovery.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal standards.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focusing on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population primarily includes individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, affecting their mental health and overall well-being. As an LPC at our organization, you will be pivotal in providing compassionate support to diverse clients, including adults, adolescents, and families, navigating their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• Proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities and a strong understanding of trauma-related disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, displaying a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• Capability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Experience working with couples is a plus; training will be provided for those willing to expand their skill sets in this area.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
