This full-time remote position will primarily involve telehealth and occasional in-person sessions in New Braunfels, Texas. Work Environment\n

This remote position allows flexibility in your work schedule, as our clinic operates seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm. You will have access to a supportive administrative team that will handle scheduling, client service, and other logistics, allowing you to concentrate on what you do best—helping clients heal.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, determining effective treatment approaches tailored to individual needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma, develop coping skills, and foster a healing environment.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated care paths for all patients.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention and steadfast support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources within the community.

• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed of emerging research and current best practices to enhance the quality of trauma therapy provided to our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse patient population dealing with varying degrees of trauma and mental health disorders. You will be responsible for addressing emotional and psychological needs, promoting healing through therapeutic interventions, and ensuring patients feel safe and understood. Our clinic serves individuals from all walks of life, emphasizing culturally competent care that respects each person’s unique background and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
\n
• Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations while maintaining a compassionate demeanor.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling.

• A demonstrated history of delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position is competitive, with an annual salary range of USD 70,000 – 110,000. Our salary structure includes guaranteed pay, annual increases, and bonus opportunities.
