Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for a balanced work-life situation while serving an outpatient population. You will be part of a collaborative team, participating in regular case consultations and team meetings to ensure a cohesive approach to client care. Our practice promotes flexibility, as we operate seven days a week from 7 AM to 10 PM, allowing you to create a schedule that aligns with your personal and professional goals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' histories and identify suitable therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and resilience building, adapting interventions as needed.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, offering a safe environment for clients to process their experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for all patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support in emergencies related to trauma, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available coping resources to empower them on their healing journeys.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with legal and ethical standards to support effective clinical operations.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily serves individuals who have experienced trauma, ranging from childhood adverse experiences to more recent traumas. As a counselor, you will work with diverse groups, including adults, adolescents, and families, both in individual settings and group therapy sessions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or doctorate in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
\n
• Strong foundation in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental attitude.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably focusing on trauma.

• Demonstrated ability to facilitate both individual and group therapy effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Further benefits include guaranteed pay with annual increases, comprehensive health and dental insurance options, paid orientation and ongoing professional development, and generous paid time off (PTO).
