Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate dynamic therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and groups, promoting an understanding of personal challenges and fostering a problem-solving mindset.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and personalized treatment for each client.

• Participate in continuous education and training to stay abreast of the latest research and methodologies in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMHC at Embers Counseling Center will work with a diverse client base, including individuals from various backgrounds and experiences often grappling with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. You will be instrumental in creating a safe space for clients to express their feelings and work towards recovery. Your expertise will provide critical support for families dealing with challenges related to mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.

• An active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington state is required.

• Minimum of two years experience in a clinical counseling setting.

Preferred Experience\n
