Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine client needs, strengths, and goals, ensuring development of customized treatment plans.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy in both individual and group settings.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that provide clients with information and community to manage their mental health effectively.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and psychologists to provide integrated patient care and ensure effective service delivery.

• Provide crisis intervention services to address immediate patient needs and ensure safety during mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients on mental health conditions, coping strategies, community resources, and wellness practices.
\n
• Maintain confidential and precise documentation in compliance with relevant laws and ethical standards using electronic health records (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and care strategies.

• Commit to continual professional development by keeping abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse array of patients seeking support for serious mental health disorders and life stressors. Your clients will span different ages, backgrounds, and life experiences, with a primary focus on individuals and families struggling with mental health issues. The role emphasizes fostering resilience, providing empathetic support, and encouraging personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Solid understanding of mental health disorders and an array of therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and implement effective treatment plans.

• Proficiency in delivering therapy to both individuals and groups, particularly to underserved populations.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

• Strong ethical judgment with the ability to maintain professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and related software applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• 2+ years of post-licensure experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
