This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment and managing hematologic conditions. The RN will support treatment administration, patient education, symptom management, and coordination of care in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to hematology and oncology patients in an outpatient clinical setting Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive treatments in accordance with established protocols Monitor patients for treatment-related side effects and adverse reactions Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage clinical concerns Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and symptom management Coordinate care with oncologists, hematologists, pharmacists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members Manage central lines, ports, and other infusion devices Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record Assist with scheduling, follow-ups, and care navigation Ensure compliance with safety standards, including chemotherapy handling protocols Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required in oncology, hematology, infusion, or medical-surgical nursing ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and multitasking skills Shift & Schedule: Day shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Benefits & Perks: Competitive weekly pay via direct deposit.
