Plant Operator

Plant Operator (Open) – Miami, FL (Plt) – Filling Industrial Responsibilities Coordinate cylinder filling to streamline cylinder handling. Coordinate pre‑filling and post‑filling tasks to meet customer demands. Check cylinders and bundles—inspect new and returned cylinders, test accessories such as tubes, paints, valves, and caps. Verify condition of frames, bundles, and manifold. Sort ready‑to‑fill cylinders from maintenance area. Perform cylinder maintenance: support hydrotest machine, dryer, painting equipment, and oven before operation; ensure safety and proper function. Conduct valve leak tests with soapy water. Apply paint in accordance with government compliance and standards. Carry out hydrotest, valving/de‑valving, drying, and vacuum bake oven procedures. Maintain cylinder conformity by color and gas type. Hand over cylinders to the filling area and initialize GTS barcode. Handle cylinder accessories: replace defective accessories; install appropriate cap and valve for each gas. Attach stickers according to product specifications and grades. Conduct quality checks: perform dew point checks per batch cylinder VBO as required by product specifications; maintain integrity of product quality. Perform functional testing on analyzers if qualified. Qualifications Curiosity for troubleshooting mechanical issues and delivering solutions for equipment needs. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols. Experience operating a forklift safely and efficiently. Flexibility to work shifts and occasional extra hours to support teammates. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field. Technical certification in industrial operations. Industrial gas experience.
