Field Experience Representative - Cleveland, OH

THE ROLE

Reporting to the VP of Wholesale, the Field Experience Representative will act as Clove's on-the-ground connection to its wholesale partners. This person will routinely visit accounts across the Midwest, with a focus on the Cleveland, OH area, to strengthen product knowledge among retail partners, elevate and guide in-store merchandising, and help drive brand visibility and sell-through.

Key responsibilities include educating retail staff on product and positioning, supporting hospital shows and local events, and engaging directly with consumers as a Clove brand ambassador.

This individual will also monitor account-level trends, communicate process changes to retailers on Clove's behalf, and provide ongoing service and support to their account base. They will work cross-functionally with Sales, Success, and Operations, serving as the in-person point of contact once a customer is converted within their region. Success in this role requires organization, proactive communication, and comfort engaging with customers to build lasting relationships.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Travel up to 80% to visit accounts across the region, supporting hospital pop-up events, staff education, merchandising, and brand awareness.
• Develop and maintain productive, professional relationships with peers, leadership, sales representatives, and retail store staff.
• Plan efficient weekly schedules in coordination with the internal Clove team and sales representatives in the territory.
• Support accounts in promoting new products through demos, trials, and in-store programs to drive conversion.
• Provide structured weekly reports and recaps of account visits to leadership.
• Support the Sales and Marketing teams with product launches, in-store merchandising, and creative grassroots programs.
• Educate retail staff on upcoming product lines and styles while in the field, in alignment with the Success and Sales merchandising roadmap.
• Represent Clove at primarily local (and select national) events and tradeshows, including setup, breakdown, on-site selling, distribution of collateral, consumer engagement, and product fitting.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions with internal teams to stay current on brand updates, product launches, and operational changes.
• Research and qualify new account leads during remote workdays, preparing well-vetted prospects for handoff to Sales.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience in sales, marketing, and/or retail
• Familiarity with footwear products and merchandising
• Experience working at in-person events or activations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Highly motivated with a hardworking attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills, including managing a calendar, contacts, and an annual territory budget strategically
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Able and willing to work weekends, extended hours, and occasional Sundays for events as needed

THE DETAILS

• Full-time role; 40 hours per week
• Tuesday through Saturday schedule
• Required to live in the Cleveland, OH area
