While your schedule will primarily occur Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate the needs of our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, utilizing evidence-based practices to formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Implement therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused interventions to drive client engagement and progress.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and best practices in record-keeping.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate care effectively.

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele in Smithtown, New York, encompassing a range of ages and backgrounds, providing an opportunity to work with individuals facing various mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate difficulties related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, regardless of their previous treatment experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R (LCSW-R), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.
